Good Central location, noisy nights

The hotel is in the city center, right next to Istiklal Street, which is ideal for sightseeing. There is also an elevator, which was convenient since our room was on the third floor. However, the location also meant extreme noise, with loud live music from the bars in the same building playing from about 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., making sleep almost impossible even with the windows closed.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, always quick to respond. When we asked for extra towels, they brought them right away. The service was clean, tidy, and attentive. Unfortunately, the room we received was not the one we had booked, and there were no alternatives available.

The breakfast terrace was closed, so breakfast was served in the room. It included an omelet, Turkish sausage, cheese, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, and coffee, but we did not enjoy it much.

Overall, the stay was mixed. It is a good choice if you want to be in the heart of the action, but not if you need a quiet night’s sleep.

I booked this hotel one month before my arrival. Before making the reservation, I read many Google reviews, and based on them, I expected a decent place to stay.

However, about three weeks before my trip, I noticed several recent reviews mentioning dirty rooms, outdated facilities, broken bathrooms, and excessive noise. This concerned me, so I contacted the hotel and asked if I could cancel my reservation. Unfortunately, I never received any reply. This gave me the impression that they were simply ignoring my request rather than trying to help.

When I arrived, I was given Room 402, and it was even worse than I expected. The room was in very poor condition. The bed sheets had holes, the bathroom was damaged, and there was constantly water on the floor near the toilet. Everything looked old, neglected, and poorly maintained.

The worst part was the noise. It was almost impossible to sleep before 4:30 a.m. Every night was a struggle, and I could not sleep at all. A hotel should provide a comfortable place to sleep, but this place completely failed at that basic requirement.

The overall experience was so bad that I decided to leave two days earlier than planned. When I asked for my invoice during check-out, I had to wait for more than an hour. The staff initially refused to provide. It felt as if they did not want to give me any written proof of my stay. Eventually, I received the invoice, but the entire process was frustrating, stressful, and a complete waste of time.

I also asked to speak with the manager or the person responsible, but I was told that he was sleeping. After everything that had happened, this response was unbelievable.

To make a long story short, this was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The poor condition of the room, the lack of cleanliness, the constant noise, the unhelpful staff, and the way my concerns were handled made this stay a complete disaster.
