Documents Required

Passport Image
Upload a high-quality passport image with no blurriness, scratches, or hidden parts. All information must be clearly visible.
Personal photo
Submit a high-quality personal photo with a white background. Face must be clearly visible with no shadows or filters.

Upon Visa Issuance

After your visa is issued, you must provide a confirmed round-trip flight ticket. Your travel date must be shared with us at least 72 hours before departure so we can arrange your reception letter.

Iraqi tourist visa

The Iraqi tourist visa is available for all nationalities except Egyptian, Syrian, Ethiopian, Pakistani, and Afghan nationals.

Permitted Entry Point

Entry through Baghdad International Airport is free of charge.

If you enter through Basra International Airport, an additional USD 30 fee must be paid.

Entry is not permitted through airports in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

Overstay Policy

If the traveller stays in Iraq for more than one month, a fine of 3,000,000 IQD will be imposed.

In Case of Rejection

The paid visa fee is non-refundable if the visa application is rejected.


Late Arrival Fine

Passengers who fail to arrive at the time stated on their submitted flight ticket will be charged a USD 60 fine.

    Fill in the required personal, passport, and travel information accurately.

    Review and pay

    Review your application details, then complete your payment to submit your Iraq visa request. 

  5. Step 5

    Receive your visa

    Once your visa is issued, you'll receive a WhatsApp notification. Your visa will also be available in the My Trips section of the Sindibad app, where you can view and download it anytime.
