Reception Letter Requirement

For travel from Iraq, a free reception letter arranged by Sindibad is required. Please contact us and send your flight tickets at least 48 hours before travel. You can’t travel without it, and travel is only possible with Iraqi Airways or EgyptAir.

Transit or International Departure Approval

For transit or travel from outside Iraq, a telegram approval arranged by Sindibad is required (fee: USD 30). Please request it at least 6 days before travel.

Who Does Not Need Entry Approval?

Children under 16 and travellers aged 60 or over don’t need entry approval. They can get their visa directly on arrival for USD 36.

Entry via Cairo Airport Only

This entry approval is valid for entry through Cairo International Airport only. It can’t be used to enter through any other airport or city in Egypt.

    Fill in the required personal and passport information accurately.

    Review and pay

    Review your application, then complete your payment to submit your Egypt entry approval request.

  5. Step 5

    Receive your entry approval

    Once your entry approval is issued, you'll receive a WhatsApp notification. Your entry approval will also be available in the My Trips section of the Sindibad app, where you can view and download it anytime.
