A fantastic hotel, but not recommended for solo female travellers.

The hotel is located in a valley around 12 km from the city of Trabzon. It is relatively remote and very quiet, offering a serene environment away from the tourist areas, especially during the high season. The hotel seemed almost empty during my stay. The on-site restaurant offers great food at reasonable prices, attracting local visitors to the valley without being overcrowded. The spacious suite, including a bathroom and balcony, was very clean and new. The rain shower and bed were excellent. This hotel offers great value for a comfortable stay in the region. The receptionists were friendly and arranged a taxi for a day tour with a polite and friendly driver at a reasonable price. The hotel transfer cost EUR50 and was a luxurious Mercedes minibus.
Management of expectations is important, as the hotels in this area mainly cater to guests from Arabic and Muslim countries.
As someone who is half-Turkish, I visited this region to experience the authentic Turkey. The area is conservative and religious, different from Istanbul or the Turkish Riviera. The morning call to prayer at a nearby mosque around 6 am is a local tradition. Alcohol is not served at the restaurant, which was not an issue for me. Some receptionists speak limited English, so knowing some Turkish was helpful. The restaurant staff have little English proficiency, but an English menu is available. Due to its remote location, you need a car or taxi (approximately EUR18 one way to Trabzon centre). A visit to the Main Square Hamam was not possible as it was closed for renovation; I enjoyed a hamam and massage for EUR40 at Yol Is Holiday 4* hotel in the city centre.
Unfortunately, this hotel is not recommended for women travelling alone. One of the restaurant workers made inappropriate advances, offering to drive me around and keep me company under the pretence of friendship. Later that evening at 9 pm, I was disturbed in my room with a phone call asking if I was coming. I was so uncomfortable that I no longer wanted to dine at the restaurant. Upon complaining, it was discovered that the reception, not the worker, had called my room. Despite informing the female receptionists about the incident, no one else apologised for the inconvenience.

Good summer resort because it's quiet in winter

The breakfast and location were both amazing. The room, along with the bathroom, was very spacious. The view outside was stunning during the day. Our heater wasn't working the first night we arrived, so the staff kindly moved us to another room at midnight.
The room and bathroom were clean, but you could easily spot large spiders and webs on the ceilings. The location becomes very quiet and eerie at night, especially right after sunset, which is why we had to return to our hotel before sunset. There are 3 restaurants and a cafe nearby, with Hayel Vadisi Restaurant and Villa Park Restaurant being worth a try. Every other location needs to be accessed by car.
