Bonkersworst hotel room I have ever spent a night in
Not much...
Old building, no soundproofing; person in room 302 above my room 202. Arrived at 10:15 pm, started moving furniture and scraping across the floor, then started speaking on the phone from 11 pm till 11:50 pm. After that, the TV was on until 1:40 am, then noise started again at half past 2 am, or was talking to someone they were sharing the room with.
The traffic outside was very noisy, eventually quietened down around 3 am. Then you got prayers over the loudspeaker at 5:40 am, approximately 2 towers within 100 yards.
Although the windows were closed, they were completely ineffective against the noise. You could remove the windows, and you wouldn't even notice the difference.
Breakfast was delivered to you with no choice; everyone received the same.
Not a place I would recommend or ever return to if I found myself in Tekirdag again. Do yourself a favour, steer clear of this hotel.
