Disappointing and a scam

I couldn't stay at this establishment because the reserved and pre-paid apartment was unavailable. The manager was unable to relocate me in the same area in Bukit Bintang with the requested features (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a balcony).

Being disturbed during my stay when I had everything organized in advance to avoid surprises. The unexpected events are not my fault but the manager's. I am not responsible for incidents that make the apartment unavailable. Beware of this kind of drift: when pre-paying for a non-cancellable reservation, you have no control over the situation. The manager pockets the money and can relocate the client wherever they please. In fact, he told me that if his relocation suggestion to another neighborhood is not suitable, the other solution is to cancel the reservation. Therefore, I do not agree that cancellation fees should be 100% of the rental price when the change comes from the manager. Next time, I will know to book at the last minute to avoid any surprises and the prices are also more advantageous. This is the first time I have had this problem with booking. In case of a problem, it is impossible to reach booking. I had to make another reservation in parallel. I hope that booking will make a commercial gesture and reconsider its reservation cancellation policy by taking into account customer feedback.
