Near eateries, authentic local vibe with added parking convenience. Stroll to Smyrna and weave through a local market observing locals at work.
Not much here for those preferring a touristy and cozy atmosphere. However, this spot offers an authentic Izmir experience, especially at night, where locals unwind with tea or coffee.
ModestoEnjoyable
I prefer staying in a spacious room, so I chose to reserve one with a balcony or terrace on the rooftop. The panoramic view is excellent, and we snapped some nice photos during the day. The breakfast is average but repetitive. It's very convenient that they can arrange a taxi to the airport right at your doorstep, especially if you have heavy luggage. Many thanks to the receptionist. There are restaurants nearby, and it takes around 15 to 30 minutes to walk by the seaside, exploring the city. Overall, the experience is positive.
The soap dispenser doesn't seem to be working properly or has run out of soap. There is no separate shampoo and body soap; they are all in one dispenser. The management should ensure to check it daily when cleaning the room. However, this is a minor issue that could be fixed. Another concern is that the room, blanket, and pillow have a slight smoke odor, possibly due to the terrace being popular among smokers. The blanket should be washed thoroughly, ideally with scented soap. But these are all part of what you get for the price.

Location was great for train and market. Lots of small cafés nearby.
About 20 minutes walk to Konak Pier and Clock Tower.
About 30 minutes walk to Alsancak for bars, restaurants and shopping.
Spacious room and lounge.
Massive balcony for sitting outside and enjoying the city view.
Large bathroom cabinet for storage.
Bed was comfortable.
None of the following had a negative impact on our stay, just observations (we would definitely stay there again):
Breakfast was fine, typical Turkish food, but lacking in variety.
The room was a bit worn, could do with a refresh.
Bedroom lighting was dim.
The balcony was huge but very basic, no decorations, and a lot of wasted potential.
