too expensive for budget

the staff was really nice and helpful.

the corridor smelled of cat urine, I don't know why the entrance doors weren't locked...

Additionally, there was a mould odour in my room which didn't completely dissipate even after airing it out.

There are some other issues but I believe I have already mentioned the main points.

The place is simple but clean, directly in front of a beautiful mosque which is Mohamed Sukulu Pasha. It has only two floors. We checked in early at 10:00 AM, and upon check out, they asked us to leave our bags securely until after noon. They offer tea hospitality, and the staff are cooperative and friendly, especially the doorman in the morning and the bellboy in the evening. The room size is suitable and it's close to Sultan Ahmed, around 6 or 7 minutes walk. This is my second time staying here last year. I only used it for sleeping and spent the whole day outside.

People's talk about the hotel is noticeable and sometimes annoying late at night or early morning. Walking from the hotel to Sultan Ahmed halfway is nearly the same, and returning from Sultan Ahmed to the hotel through a steep road, they don't change the sheets until after 3 days, it would be better to change them in less time. In the courtyard, there is a beautiful productive mulberry tree, but what falls from it is not cleaned, causing a bad smell.
