Just a nightmare!

Not much to like
First of all, you need to know that despite the hotel's location only 3 minutes away from Taksim Square, the hotel is located downhill, making it very difficult to walk back, especially with family, kids, and strollers.
Second, there is often no one at the reception during the night and after 12:00, despite the hotel door being left open. It feels unsafe in the room, like a horror movie, as anyone can enter the hotel and come upstairs.
The male receptionists speak very limited English, maybe a 2 out of 10. Their English is very poor, and when asked something, they often respond with 'we don't understand, sorry!'
The service is poor. We requested a blanket from day one, but only received it on day 3.
On our last day, there was an electricity outage for over an hour, during the summer!
The room itself is extremely outdated, and the bathroom is not walled but made of glass, so when you bathe, your companion can see you!
The cleanliness and breakfast are average.
Not even worth one star, a very bad experience - do not go there at all.

Positive impressions.

Convenient location, both walking and by transport. The hotel itself is small, rooms are tiny, but there is gel, shampoo, hair conditioner, soap, cotton swabs, and disks. Towels are changed daily. There is a TV, kettle, and refrigerator. Breakfast is modest, they make omelette or scrambled eggs, if requested, there were boiled eggs, three kinds of cheese, one sausage, tomatoes and cucumbers, bread, a little processed cheese, and several types of spreads. The staff is very helpful in solving problems, I will tell you about them below.
Bad Wi-Fi reception on the floors (but we didn't need it, we had our own internet); poor sound insulation. If neighbors are noisy, it's hard to sleep. The windows seem to close, but road noise is audible (it was normal for us, friends couldn't fall asleep). Also, in the room itself, the bathroom door doesn't close tightly and that's why everything is audible.
