GislaineRealization of a dream! With great cost-benefit ratio.
The staff is very welcoming, the space is very comfortable, the price is very attractive, the location is excellent! Very close to the main must-visit tourist spots, such as the sultan's palace, cisterns, Hagia Sophia, all within walking distance, in interesting and safe streets! Totally worth it!

Nothing much. This hotel room listing on Booking.com reflects poorly on Booking.com.
Everything. See attached photos for clarity.
1. The toilet flush was not working. Had to remove the cover and use the lever for flushing.
2. The shower pipe was cracked in various places and leaking.
3. The place where the kettle for tea was kept hadn't been dusted (and they had a good 5 hours to prepare the room for us!) The kettle itself was not washed. We did not use this at all.
4. The bedsheets were not very clean.
5. The refrigerator was not clean.
6. For a touristic place, the person manning the reception knew no language other than Turkish. We used a translation app to communicate. On the very first day, I mentioned that the AC was not switching off and that the remote was not working. We were told this will be taken care of. Nothing. For the next 2 days, the AC stayed on 24 hours of the day - total waste.
The hotel room had to be approached from an outer door and a steep staircase with a lot of items lying there.
