Unique plus hotel:

Accommodation — Taksim Square.

Nearby: institutions / shops / metro stations.

Everything else does not match the declared category, prices and expectations.

Throughout my travel experience to Istanbul (4th visit) — this is the worst hotel experience.

We booked a panoramic room in the hotel — Super Deluxe (45 m²) with panoramic views of Istanbul, for 2 people, and fully paid for the stay in advance through Booking.

❗ Upon arrival, without any prior notice, they placed us before the fact that our room was 'unavailable' and unilaterally replaced it with another. There was no prior notification from the hotel or Booking about the change, and no one asked for consent to the replacement.

At the reception, we were told that the 'better and more expensive' room was not true. They provided a different room, with the same area, but calculated for 4 people, with two small bedrooms instead of one spacious room with panoramic windows, which we had booked. The room configuration fundamentally differed.

After contacting the reception, the female staff acted unprofessionally and condescendingly, even though the problem was not our fault. The male staff were more polite.

The next day, we were offered to move to the reserved room, having been warned in advance that:

- there were problems with heating

- they could 're-accommodate' us

The last 2 nights in the room were uncomfortable.

The hotel actually offers a room that is not ready for accommodation in the cold season.

Actual condition of the Super Deluxe room:

- Heating does not work (Three batteries fully cold)

- Ineffective air conditioner in heating mode

- The room is cold, damp, uncomfortable

- The towel hangers are cold — the towels do not dry, they are damp

- Holes in the shower curtain

- Mold on the walls, detached wallpaper

- One out of three lamps in the bathroom was working properly

- Audible noise interference

- Overall room condition — neglected!

Throughout the stay, the staff never checked whether we were warm, or if everything was in order. After the conflict, the attitude was openly cold, making us feel uncomfortable.
