The only thing we liked was the location of the rundown hotel.
Where do I start? As a gay couple, we felt judged right from the start. The hotel was noisy all night, the shower filled with water not draining properly, blocked or clogged drainage. Not to mention the mould. The old heater kept turning on, cooking us. We couldn't turn it off, so we turned the air-conditioning on, which kept throwing an error code. And to top it off, the TV didn't work. Then they said we had to pay by cash in Euros or USD as their card machine wasn't working. It felt dodgy as they gave me a hand-written receipt.
