Location of the property was good. Located near restaurants and shopping. Easy to get around to the Mosque and the river.
Property needs some refreshing. It needs some maintenance done to make the apartment more appealing. A bit run down.

The location is very good. Very pleasant neighborhood.
The presentation photo on Booking is misleading!!! It suggests that there is a terrace with a view of the Bosphorus.

Location, furnishings
We decided to spend more than average for a home with a terrace as shown in the photos. I have visited more than 30 countries, spending from 5 euros per night to 500, and these were the worst spent of my life.
We were accompanied by a friend of the host, who never introduced himself, to a ground floor apartment. The terrace in the photos was said to be part of another apartment, not available, and only for showing off an award they had received (I wonder how). The apartment was on the ground floor facing the street. Well furnished and corresponding to the photos but lacking the terrace that would have justified the price. The garden had been left in terrible conditions. Realizing the situation, we asked to cancel and the girl replied that we could only spend the first night, paying for it, then change accommodation. After booking the other house, the owner wrote to us that he would withdraw all the money and that his friend did not understand certain matters. In fact, we were forced to stay, also losing half of the money for the house we had booked. Furthermore, he withdrew from an ATM three times separately, adding high fees to the already exorbitant price.
The breakfast set was embarrassing: I attach a photo of the milk. No coffee, no tea.
The promised Turkish delight was nowhere to be seen, and neither was the transportation card.
To calm down, I decided to take a shower only to see it detach from the wall and fall on my feet as soon as I turned on the water.
The owner replied 'We will fix it as soon as possible', needless to say that he did not do so in the following three days. For 100 euros per night, I had to shower holding it with my hands.
Nonexistent guest care, an ugly end to a trip in a wonderful land, with fabulous hosts. Not all of them though...
