Overall, the hotel's location was excellent for patients staying near the hospital, but the level of service, communication, and attention to detail did not meet the expectations of a 5-star hotel.

The hotel's main strength is its exceptional location just a few minutes from the hospital, which greatly facilitated my recovery after surgery.

* The hotel was quiet and peaceful, with no large crowds, which was exactly what I needed during my post-operative recovery.

* The room itself was comfortable enough for resting.

Unfortunately, my overall experience did not meet the expectations of a 5-star hotel.

* Room service was extremely slow, with every request taking an unreasonable amount of time. Once, I waited over an hour for two drinking glasses and two teaspoons, ultimately having to get them myself.

* Communication was challenging as some restaurant staff did not speak basic English. If they did not understand the order, they simply did not send it without seeking clarification.

* I ordered salmon but received sea bass after a considerable wait.

* The minibar/refrigerator was not sufficiently cold to keep drinks and food properly chilled.

* The clothes hangers were old, damaged, and broken, causing my clothes to keep falling.

* After housekeeping, something was almost always missing from the room, such as cutlery, glasses, or other basic items.

* The level of English among the staff, especially in the restaurant, made communication unnecessarily difficult.

* The TV offered very limited entertainment, lacking Netflix or YouTube, with very few watchable channels, making the 12-night recovery period after surgery quite dull.

* A modern 5-star hotel should offer guest communication through WhatsApp or another messaging service to translate and manage requests more efficiently.

* There were no power outlets near one side of the bed, making it inconvenient to charge devices.

* Clean plates, cutlery, and glasses were not automatically restocked. I had to repeatedly request them, each involving a lengthy wait.

Overall, the hotel's location was excellent for patients near the hospital, but the service, communication, and attention to detail did not match 5-star standards. It felt more like a 3-star experience in my opinion.

Very good stay.

This is not my first stay at the WOW Hotel. Convenient access to the exhibition center. Close to the OUTLET Airport where you can find several restaurants. The hotel is relatively far from Istanbul Airport. The staff is welcoming and helpful.

It was very hot in the room and impossible to adjust the air conditioning properly.

The mini-bar was closed.
