A magnificent hotel in the heart of Sultanahmet.

The hotel is located on a very enjoyable street in the center of Sultanahmet. Our room was on the top floor with a balcony and had a unique Istanbul view. The professional staff was always ready to help and smiling. It was evident from all areas that the management pays great attention to hygiene details. We will definitely come back again.

Poor 1

Terrible and definitely not recommended. The price performance is terrible.

I only liked the location of the facility.
I booked a room with a view. On the first day we arrived, the gentleman at the reception insisted that we did not choose a breakfast option and said we could stay without breakfast. The argument did not lead to a resolution and despite showing the necessary documents on the phone, he did not believe us and said he would contact Booking.com. The first disappointment started here. A depressing start to the holiday. The hotel room we booked for the view turned out to be an attic room, I could easily touch the ceiling when I reached out, and the room was very low and cramped. The area between the bathtub and the marble was filled with mold and visible. The part of the bathroom faucet connected to the wall was also detached, and the shower head was broken. The corner of the bedroom curtain was as well. Photos of these are available. On July 25, there was a very heavy rain and we were in the room. Two employees immediately wanted to check if water leaked from upstairs through the balcony, and we told them the balcony was closed. About half an hour later we left the room, but before leaving, we thought there was no need to clean the room, so we adjusted the card on the door according to that. When we returned in the evening, we saw that towels were laid on the floor in front of the balcony door. They had entered the room and done this for fear of water entering the room. The breakfast was very ordinary. The french fries were always cold and soggy. I stayed involuntarily because I had paid and had no chance of refund. I still can't believe how it got 4 stars. I can't comment much about the staff apart from the middle-aged, curly-haired male employee on duty at the night reception. At around 01:30, we wanted to pay for the coffees we had drunk and asked if our friend could stay in the room until we finished packing our suitcases. He flatly refused, wanted our friend to come down, said he would offer tea. Anyway, we left, we had already prepared most of our belongings. We quickly took our suitcases, went down and returned the key.
