actually the staff was not bad

Disappointing

I stayed at this hotel with my 14-year-old son for 7 days.
Unfortunately, our stay started with a very disturbing incident. I had made a reservation for a double room for 1 adult and 1 child through Booking and fully paid for it. When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist said that the room was double occupancy, but the payment was made for only one person. He also mentioned that I needed to pay an additional 150 Euros for my son's stay.
Due to language barrier, road fatigue, and the stress I was experiencing, I had difficulty finding my reservation confirmation at that moment and had to pay an additional 150 Euros to check-in.
Later, when I checked my Booking reservation in the room, I clearly saw that both mine and my 14-year-old son's stay had been fully paid. I sent the screenshot to my Turkish relatives. Only after my Turkish relative personally went to the hotel and showed my reservation and payment details to the receptionist, the 150 Euros was refunded to me. Until that point, my explanations were not taken into consideration. Later, it was said that this was a mistake originating from Booking, however, everything was clearly and correctly displayed in my reservation confirmation.
The initial room given was very dark; it had a view of a wall and stairs. The windows were extremely dirty and seemed like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The sliding door in the bathroom was faulty. Since it didn't close, we had to keep it shut with a slipper while taking a shower or using the toilet.
After explaining the situation to my Turkish relative, they went back to the reception to discuss the issues with the room with the staff. As a result, our room was changed. The new room was a bit brighter and had a better view, but the windows were still dirty and the sliding door problem in the bathroom persisted.

The room was for smokers. But I did not book for smokers.
