Cozy room for music enthusiasts and food lovers

Anyone who complains about noise levels downstairs is simply someone who didn't realize they booked a room in the heart of a bustling nightlife area, right above a fantastic bar. You can't reserve a room like that and then complain about noise! As some have mentioned, it's more suitable for younger individuals who stay up late. I got exactly what I was looking for: a room upstairs in the middle of the lively atmosphere of Taksim, just a few blocks away from various venues recognized for techno music: Kastel, Sahika, Minimusikhol, and Frankhan Select. Techno fans on a budget should reserve a room here or nearby! Moreover, there are amazing three-piece bands performing EVERYWHERE once you step outside in the evening.

Irish Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Galata Tower and the Bosphorus ferries, as well as Taksim Metro station and Istiklal Avenue. I reserved a single room but was given a double instead. Breakfast is served from 8-10 am, offering a traditional spread. There is an upright piano in the breakfast room. You might be able to find a better breakfast elsewhere, but it will come at a higher price. I felt secure and welcomed as a solo queer femme guest.

At James Joyce Irish Bar, the owner speaks perfect English and is willing to chat with you over a Guinness for an hour. The bar even has a complete stage with lighting in the back if you are interested in booking a performance.

If the hot water doesn't heat up right away, don't panic— just wait a couple of minutes.

The vibe is cool and gives you an old nostalgic feel.

The security is low, better to keep your valuable stuff by yourself until keeping inside the hotels.

Отель удачно расположен, но его не так просто найти, т.к. вход с боковой улицы. Удобства и персонал понравились, скромный завтрак, но голодным не уйдете. Рядом много кафе, в нескольких десятках метров улица Истикляль. Шумно не было (или просто я был уставший после вечера бесконечных прогулок)
