GlebOverall, I really enjoyed my stay.
A charming hotel located in a historic building, with welcoming and attentive staff, offering the best value for money in the area. I truly had a pleasant stay.
ARCHITECTURE. The hotel is housed in a beautiful 19th-century building, featuring marble staircases and walls, wooden floors in the rooms, and a delightful view of elegant facades from the windows. My room boasted two windows and a small balcony.
LOCATION. There are several delightful options nearby for breakfast, lunch, and cocktails. Istiklal Street, Galataport, the bridge to the Old City, and the ferry dock for trips to the Asian side of the city or the Princes' Islands are all a short stroll away. Additionally, there are numerous antique stores in the vicinity of the hotel.
SERVICE. The reception team was consistently friendly and eager to assist — from arranging a trustworthy taxi to ensure fair fares, to offering a late check-out to accommodate my schedule, to providing directions and more.
The only minor downside was that some of the towels and bathrobes in the room seemed a bit worn. Nonetheless, given the reasonable price and the location, this had little impact on my overall experience.
