Apart from this negative experience, my stay was overall very pleasant. The hotel is very nice and well-maintained, the staff was friendly and helpful, and I also liked the atmosphere. The room was comfortable overall and the service was also very good. Many things were right – that's why I was particularly disappointed by the lack of cleanliness in the shower.
I was really shocked by the conditions in the shower. Already on the first day, while showering, I noticed that there were many short black hairs on the walls, especially in the shower niche. It clearly looked like the previous guest had shaved there. And it wasn't just a few individual hairs – the shower was literally full of them. I was so disgusted that showering there was really unpleasant for me.
Especially in a hotel like the Hilton, this is absolutely unacceptable to me. With this standard, I expect that a bathroom is thoroughly cleaned and checked before the next guest checks in. A shower full of hair simply cannot be overlooked during room cleaning.
Unfortunately, I couldn't take a photo because I noticed the hairs while showering. At that moment, I was so disgusted that honestly, I didn't think of taking a photo.
This was by far the worst part of my entire stay and significantly tainted my impression of the hotel. Otherwise, everything was really great – so I find it even more incomprehensible and disappointing that the cleanliness in the bathroom was neglected to this extent. I definitely expect more from a Hilton here.
