Great location

Poor WiFi, the breakfast buffet food was not fresh

Will probably not come back here

It’s probably in the best possible location with good transport links to see major attractions. The hotel was very accommodating to any special requests I had made prior to check in.

One of the pillow cases had stains on it, made me wonder if the bedding was actually changed or the bed was simply made.

I immediately asked for a replacement for that pillow cases as the rest of the bedding looked fine. Reception staff said they’d be able to sort that out asap. It simply didn’t happen until concierge service next morning.

On my second or third night, the toilet would simply not flush. Everything was working fine but the water to flush the toilet. I informed the reception as I was heading out in the city that the toilet doesn’t work anymore. I’ve been told that someone would go and check it out and also get it fixed. This was early afternoon near midday. I got back to the hotel at around 11pm, the toilet wasn’t fixed. I spoke to reception again, someone came up to see it, we couldn’t understand each other because the investigator didn’t speak English but we google translate a little bit, and the solution was that at 6am someone would come to fix the issue. Woke up in time and waiting for this person to come so we can use the toilet. No one came. Yet again I had to go to reception with the videos of the issue and that we cannot use the toilet. Reception said they’d would fix it. I went out in the city again and when I came back the issue was finally resolved. This was an unacceptable experience, even for a 3 star accommodation.

This one worker kept making uncomfortable jokes about expecting tips if we wanted to use the dinning area during quiet times (my family was also checked in there). This same worker, had a go at me for wanting to switch the light on above our table in the dining room- prior to me wanting to do this. I looked around for staff and sure our presence was noticed in the dining area, but no one came. So I tried to do it myself- that’s when I’ve been told off.

Great hotel

Cleaner was very friendly, room was cleaned regularly, hygiene was top notch. Beds were great for a hotel, had a pleasant 5-night stay.

Breakfast was included, but unfortunately I could tell that it was put out multiple times from 2/3 days old. Including bread and cucumber, it's fine for an overnight stay but if eating the same thing for multiple days, it's really not edible anymore.

Despite this, the stay was very pleasant, beds were excellent! And the staff listened exceptionally well.
