DO NOT STAY HERE. Read this review, it's a terrible hotel.

The location would have been great for seeing the Blue Mosque, IF you had gotten the room you paid for. However, I never received what I paid for, only a view of trash at the back of the hotel.

Where to start. DO NOT STAY HERE. The room I paid for, I never got to be in as the circuit breakers kept tripping and one socket even caught fire. The manager was aware of the issues in this and the adjoining room, as mentioned in a previous review. Also, the adapter blew out, I was promised a replacement which never happened.

I was moved to a room at the BACK of the hotel, with the shower ceiling falling in, non-functional toilet flusher buttons, a sink faucet that was loose and leaning, and shower connections that sprayed water everywhere but on me.

The room overlooked a balcony full of mop buckets and a lower roof piled high with garbage and assorted trash, it was not the view of the Mosque I paid for.

I paid extra for a room with a view of the Blue Mosque and air conditioning, but received NEITHER. Despite repeated requests, I was never given the AC remote. They seem to just pacify guests with words and no follow-through. It was scorching hot in the room.

During a recorded call with Booking.com, it was agreed that the hotel would refund the last night due to the unsatisfactory conditions, but after 4 months there has been no refund and no action from Booking.com.

DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL. Do not trust the supposedly positive reviews. The new management only cares about money.

Also, do not use their airport pick-up service, it was a complete mess. This was a warning sign of what was to follow. I had to take a taxi instead.
