Beautiful and cozy room in a decorative style with wallpaper. View of the mosque. Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque within walking distance. Breakfast on the upper floor with the possibility to step out onto the balcony.
The room is listed as a 3-bed. There are indeed 3 beds, but in reality, there is space for movement and storage only for 2 people. Maximum plus a very small child. Otherwise, it's quite cramped in there.
Noise in the room. Firstly, neighbors can be heard. Secondly, the window isn't soundproof. Hearing people on the street wasn't a problem as the street isn't too noisy, but sometimes at 5 in the morning, an extremely loud prayer from the mosque across the street could be heard. That would wake even the dead.
I was offered a transfer from the hotel to the airport. However, I was not informed that the pickup time is not the time when you depart for the airport but the time when they start picking up other passengers around Istanbul, which took about an hour and a quarter. So, we were just in time at the airport.
