We had a delightful experience at Sub Karaköy Hotel and would gladly return.

The hotel is spotless, cozy, and equipped with all the essentials for a fantastic stay in the heart of Istanbul. The location is ideal—situated right in the midst of the lively Karaköy neighborhood, surrounded by fantastic cafes, restaurants, and wonderful local energy. It's just a few steps away from Tophane T1 tram station, providing convenient access to the metro and other public transportation options, which makes exploring the city incredibly easy.

What truly set our stay apart was the exceptional hospitality from the entire staff. A special shoutout to Alep, Mert, and Ayberk for always being friendly, professional, and genuinely supportive. They graciously addressed all our inquiries, offered fantastic local suggestions, and assisted us until our departure, even helping us with our airport taxi arrangements.

A big thank you to the entire team for making us feel so valued. We genuinely appreciated your warmth and superb assistance.

Comfortable, beautiful, convenient location.

Love the location that is on flat ground! Also only a one-minute walk to the hipster/tourist street. Breakfast and facilities were shared with another more premium hotel, just a few buildings away - a one-minute walk. The staff was extremely helpful. WiFi didn't work initially, but the staff helped me change to a room with a stronger WiFi connection. When the AC didn't work, they helped me fix it on the spot. It cost me fifteen minutes of hassle in total, but with this price and super helpful staff, what else could I complain about? I'm pretty happy with the overall experience.

My stay was excellent! I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Their service and amenities were fantastic, especially the receptionists' work (all of them), the cleaning services (thorough and spotless), and the breakfast service.

Everything was fantastic for the price paid.

I can definitely see they are focused on improving their performance - the manager is always present, and the receptionists are always ready to assist you.

The only issue that affected my rating was an unexpected billing error upon check-out. With my taxi waiting, the front desk attempted to charge me for two glasses of wine and six beers that we never ordered. The staff couldn't clarify where the charge originated—perhaps a misunderstanding with housekeeping or the bar system—although they did eventually waive it so I could depart. While I appreciate that it was resolved, it caused unnecessary stress. I mention this so that management can enhance their room inventory tracking.
