The location
I wish to express my deep dissatisfaction regarding my stay at Akkuş Hotel.
Unfortunately, the quality of the room and services was far from what was advertised and what one can expect from a hotel establishment.
Here are the main issues encountered:
The cleaning was only done once in 5 days, which is totally unacceptable.
Dirty towels were left on the floor without being replaced. We couldn't even shower.
The sheets were not changed throughout the stay.
The bins were overflowing and not emptied.
The room was dirty and poorly maintained.
The bathroom was in a very inadequate state of cleanliness, with degraded finishes and an obvious lack of maintenance and hygiene.
A very strong sewer smell was constantly coming from the bathroom, making it particularly unpleasant and difficult to use, especially with two young children.
The overall condition of the room did not match the photos presented during the booking.
I also want to report that the television in the room was completely unusable. It was extremely small (about 40 cm wide) and, above all, it didn't even turn on.
I also want to mention that I had paid a supplement for breakfast, but it was a real disappointment.
There was no breakfast service at our hotel, we had to go to another nearby hotel. From the first morning, we left the room with hardly anything eaten. There was neither decent coffee, nor milk for my children. Only pieces of baguette, hot water with powdered milk that not even my children could swallow, and instant coffee with a very unpleasant taste, tomato and some ham that we didn't even touch.
