Great location, amazing staff, clean rooms

Hotel Amira always lives up to its standards. This is our second stay and this hotel never fails to impress. The location is always so central to everything, the staff is so helpful and don't say no to anything you ask for and the rooms are always comfortable and spotless.
Some rooms could use a little bit of a face lift, but this will always be one of my favourite hotels

Quiet and central, close to the sights

The accommodation is located in the center near the sights, the room is large and quiet, had its own terrace, the staff was very friendly, there was a traditional Turkish breakfast
One floor had to be managed on foot

Read about this hotel on Trip-Advisor.... we endorse every positive review!

The hotel was charming with beautiful features such as the staircase and the chandelier in Reception. The bedding was pristine and rooms were changed daily, if required. The dining room was very pleasant and the breakfast was varied. The Turkish lady present in the adjoining room made delicious flatbreads while you waited! The roof bar, with three different level terraces, had an amazing view of Lake Marmara and the roof-tops around the hotel.
Most importantly, the staff were lovely and so polite. They were warm and welcoming. They greeted you with smiles and were ready to help in any way. In particular, the Manager, Volkan Kiziltas was wonderful. His English was excellent, He was charming, informed and gave good advice relating to our planned visits. he spared a little time to chat, when not busy and contributed to the enjoyment of our stay at Hotel Amira.
Would we go back there? In a heart-beat!
There was nothing we did not like.
Context is everything and the hotel reflected its Turkish traditions in a subtle but not overwhelming way.
