The staff tried to be friendly, because I tried to cancel from the first day, as requested but it was not possible
Nothing to do with the photos, at the same reception, we couldn't stop looking at the hotel photos on the booking app with the reality we found, we wanted to cancel immediately but unfortunately in order to book, you have to make the payment in advance, then we realized the mistake. Now we are in another hotel where without using the app and checking the price beforehand, we went in to ask and they still offered us a cheaper rate and the image the hotel gave us was nothing like the previous one. Therefore, I recommend coming without a reservation and I feel really bad for the app, but that's how I should have done it from the first day, and then if I'm interested in booking, do it at the same door or at the same hotel reception, so I don't give room for more deceits, as it's not the first time it happened to me here in Turkey to pay in advance through the app and then not accept the app's price and they don't let you check in, this same thing happened to me here four years ago and until Booking.com refunded me I had to figure out how to book another hotel, there were other guys at the reception who had exactly the same thing happen to them as me, apparently the receptionist was talking to the owner or manager and they were not accepting bookings from Booking.com
