Good location, but minimal comfort

Very good location. Metro station nearby. Hotel is located right by ancient walls. Entrance to Gülhane Park nearby. Galata Bridge is not far away. All landmarks are close by.

The street is quiet and very beautiful.

It was cold in the room in January. Trash was not taken out, room was not cleaned, towels were not changed.

The hotel is old, the double bed has not one mattress, but two mattresses side by side that constantly move apart. The bathroom has a centuries-old buildup of limescale.

The staircase to the upper floor is very inconvenient.

For all three nights, someone smoked a lot in the corridor and the smoke penetrated into the room along with the smell.

Good location

We were allocated a room located off the main hotel building. It was functional, but not ideal. Light from the street illuminated the room through the window, and the room was in a bad state of disrepair.
