The location was excellent, room size was excellent, and staff were all very friendly and accommodating.
If I had one criticism, it would be that the rooms have a kitchenette, but no cooking utensils (pans, plates, cutlery, etc).

room: outdated furniture, uncomfortable mattress, overall feeling of being run-down.
Alfredwe had a wonderful time in Istanbul with Ansen as a base.
The room we had, the penthouse, had outstanding views. the location was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Really spacious rooms in a great location.
Breakfast is decent. Good coffee is available next door.
Unfortunately, the refrigerator in the room was not usable. And the equipment of the kitchenette was very minimalist. Only the small shower head worked in the shower.
