Nice hotel in a great location

A beautiful and welcoming hotel located a stone's throw from the metro (Vezneciler) and a 5-minute walk from the T1 tram (laleli-Universite), making it perfect to reach all the most beautiful places in Istanbul. It has a spacious and bright entrance with a bar and restaurant. The staff is always kind and helpful. The room was large and welcoming with all the amenities including a minibar (empty) and a safe. It overlooks the side street. It has a nice wellness center with a large pool and a whirlpool tub (cold water). There is also a steam and dry sauna available. Massages and hammam are available for a fee. Many reviews complain about the noise coming from the adjacent hotel but it didn't bother us because once the double glazed windows were closed and the curtains drawn, we couldn't hear any noise anymore. (we were on the third floor). In the room, you will also find everything you need to make tea or coffee, which is much appreciated. The breakfast was truly excellent, with even a corner dedicated to their traditional flatbreads cooked on the spot. It is true that the savory part prevails (with various dishes of vegetables, eggs, hot dogs, and various cold cuts), so do not expect Italian croissants, but they still have various types of bread, jam, butter, puddings, and cookies as well as cereals, yogurt, and milk! I found it very satisfying.

Some things should be improved to optimize your hotel. 1- The pillows were too high and hard.. Consider memory foam pillows. 2- A light above the bathroom mirror is absolutely necessary for applying makeup or shaving while seeing what you're doing! 3- A few more shelves or a small cabinet in the bathroom to place your things would be very welcome. 4- The Wi-Fi was slow and unstable... And lastly, I would change the schedule for using the Spa. Currently, it is open and free from 12:00 to 18:00, after which it becomes paid. It's a shame that during those hours a tourist is generally out visiting. Also, why not open the gym at least early in the morning?? In case someone wants to work out before breakfast! These would all be improvements that would significantly enhance your hospitality towards tourists. Thank you
