10 days in Istanbul! ❤️

The location of the Triton hotel in the Sultanahmet district is ideal for a stay in Istanbul.

Perfectly English-speaking, professional, helpful, kind and attentive staff.

Recently renovated, this establishment will welcome you with all the necessary amenities for a quality stay.

Thanks to Tolga (and Gazel the cat 🐈...) for their welcome upon our arrival and for the restaurant and hammam recommendations (less touristy but just as interesting...).

Also thanks to Ali who, despite my uncertain English, helped me with organizing our return to Sabiha Gokcen airport 🛳️🛫.

Breakfast is served on the hotel terrace, continental style (sweet/savory), very generous and with a magnificent view of the Blue Mosque (but not only... also of Hagia Sophia and the Asian side of the Bosphorus 😍).

Ideally located, this hotel allows you to enjoy the tourist sites: Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Hippodrome, Basilica Cistern and Topkapi Palace, but also a wide choice of restaurants.

1 minute from the Arasta Bazaar, more intimate than the Grand Bazaar... (where a little break is necessary at the carpet store in the Metin Gallery by Yasar Aksoy, perfectly Francophone, who will share his love for beautiful fabrics and sometimes antique quality carpets (and more...😉).

Also, thanks to the staff behind the scenes... service, cleaning and kitchen staff who contributed to our comfort in this establishment.

We had already visited Istanbul 15 years ago and now we have found our base.

Nothing except that we would have appreciated fresh orange juice for breakfast and a box of Kleenex in the room, but that's just to mention it.

Highly recommended. We really liked it.

Excellent location, responsive and very customer-oriented staff. Good and diverse breakfast. Cleanliness, room convenience, fresh renovation, and care for guests. Cozy, will be happy to come back to this hotel again. Many attractions within walking distance. I recommend starting your acquaintance with Istanbul from this hotel and location.
