Very noisy as the window does not close completely. On weekends, all night long under the window there is music from cars, crowds of people walk around and smoke in the cafe on the first floor.

Good stay with some limitations.

Great location on the Asian side, with easy access to ferry (15min walk) and tram (right in front), and proximity to many restaurants/shops. Daily cleaning available upon request, including replacement of towels, water bottles, etc.
The main building is good, with a nice coffee shop downstairs. The hotel reception staff was helpful, but the rest of the staff was not very friendly or welcoming; they do not acknowledge you at all. The room was adequate for the price, but be aware of several issues we noted during our stay: 1) There are a number of cosmetic/safety issues in the room such as broken glass without a door handle on closet, drooping drapes without a hook to hold in place (broken hooks in the cabinets), bathroom ceiling with water damage, shower door not fully held in place due to a broken latch at the bottom inside the shower, paint damage along the baseboards with openings/cracks, etc. 2) My bed was very soft in the middle, so I sunk down a bit when sleeping, which was very uncomfortable due to an older mattress; staff was able to change rooms with a better mattress, which is much appreciated. 3) The bathroom had a sewer smell, even after changing to another room above, so I had to close the bathroom door at night and open windows to limit the smell; it did get better towards the end of our stay. 4) Noisy at night as the room faces a main street with a tram line; I recommend bringing earplugs, which helped a lot. 5) The elevator is small (fits 2 people tightly), so not suitable for those who are claustrophobic. 6) No additional sheets provided for changing, only a duvet with a blanket.
