The location was good, the reception staff were friendly. Price was acceptable.
The fact that the description of the budget double room did not clearly state that the room was located in a basement with no windows was very disappointing. The room pictures on the listing showed a window, but it was very misleading as that window actually faced the hallway in the basement! (Our room didn't even have that one window, which in my opinion is better). The reception staff couldn't assist as they mentioned it was specified in the booking, but I checked all the confirmation emails and there was no mention of it. So, yes, it's advisable to check with the hotel before booking to avoid any surprises. Even the booking support didn't help. In my view, it's extremely important to be transparent about the provided conditions; it should be clearly stated that the room is located IN A BASEMENT!
