The Bank Hotel Istanbul is located in the most convenient area of Beyoğlu, Karaköy Banks Street, for exploring Istanbul. The hotel building, a typical example of 19th centuries eclectic architectural style that was re-novated to keep its original historical value, is formed by combining two buildings; the Sümerbank Building, built in 1876 and once home to Credit General Ottoman, and the erstwhile community center of the Neve Shalom cong-regation.

Great location and comfortable rooms

Location is great. Some staff members were great, others could've tried harder.

Breakfast and Housekeeping staff were particularly good. Also, the lovely gentleman who delivered our nightly chocolates and the iron and ironing board.

Bed was particularly comfortable.

Lack of interest from most of the front office staff.

Access to the roof top bar and restaurant - no priority given to residents, we were turned away and the staff wouldn't even let us take a few photos.

Breakfast selection was poor.

WiFi kept dropping out and we had to sign in every time we came back to the hotel.

first time in Turkey and hotel staff provided everything necessary for an optimal stay
