The Meretto Hotel Istanbul Old City was a very good choice for our extended stay in Istanbul. Our triple room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the overall hotel was very clean. Every day, you receive a complimentary bottle of water, which was a nice touch considering the summer heat. The staff, in general, were very friendly and ready to assist with any questions or requests. We particularly appreciated the attentive care given by Mr. Abdo, who was available and helpful throughout our stay.
The breakfast offered a standard selection with some variations during the week: fresh salad, fresh fruits, Turkish coffee/tea, Turkish traditional simit, and egg dishes.
The hotel's excellent location made sightseeing planning easy for us. We had a view of the tram station from our room and the Yenikapi metro M2 line and Marmaray station were just a few minutes away on foot. The area was very safe with well-lit streets, making our holiday stress-free. I would confidently recommend this hotel for your trip to Istanbul.
