May 1, 2026 I made a reservation at the hotel on the same day I received confirmation and the booking number from the hotel

I received confirmation and taxi booking number. On May 11, 2026 I arrive in Istanbul, the transfer meets me and takes me to the hotel, at the hotel they tell me that there is no reservation under your name then I show the booking number sent to me by the hotel along with the confirmation. They tell me that there is no reservation under your name and booking exist, then I ask for confirmation and the booking number, the hotel Royal sent it to me. While my last name, first name and booking number do not exist. CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN THIS????

The room overall is average - nothing impressive but not bad either. However, the hotel is in need of major renovation.

I liked the location, the staff, and the snacks.

For the price paid, the whole hotel gave off a smell of canal, a worn-out hotel, and needs refurbishment. There is no parking, which forced us to find a spot.
