Small room at a great location and price, which could have been cleaner

Very close to Istiklal, one of the most iconic streets in Istanbul! Great location, very central, with a lot of restaurants and bars nearby. The street was quiet enough for us not to hear any noise during the night. The receptionists were also pretty nice.

The room is small, but it's worth the price. I felt that the room could have been cleaner, especially the sheets. Also, please don't list that you offer shampoo and body wash when all you had was mixed with water, so bad we could not even use it to wash our hands. You have to ask for the AC remote at the reception; it will otherwise not be given to you.

Clean and safe accommodation near Taksim Square

I have stayed at the Mint Residence several times. The location is perfect. 2 minutes walk to the shopping street Istiklal Caddesi, a good 5 minutes to the Taksim metro station, which provides connections to all parts of Istanbul.

The rooms and the hotel in general have a 70s charm, so they are not modernly furnished, but they are very clean and perfect for a city trip. The day receptionist Eljan speaks very good English and the night receptionist Serkan immediately helps with anything, whether it is sightseeing, hamam/massages, restaurant tips, or airport taxis, etc.

As always, I felt very well taken care of there and would stay there again anytime. I can only recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a safe and relatively inexpensive place near Taksim Square, especially for solo female travelers.

Super central location, everything can be reached quickly on foot. Good connection to the sights by metro and bus.

The room is unfortunately a little bit too small, we could hardly open our suitcase on the floor but somehow managed to cope.

A hotel for low expectations, cheap and comfortable

Comfortable bed, hot shower and excellent location

Needs a lot of maintenance, we had a leak in the bathroom and it took a couple of days to repair it, there was noticeable wear on wallpapers, wooden baseboards, it's not as shown in the photos, they never changed a central lamp so we only had the side lights
