The staff tried to be friendly, because I tried to cancel from the first day, as I wanted, but it was not possible.
Nothing to do with the photos, at the reception, we couldn't stop looking at the photos of the Hotel from the booking app with the reality we were facing, we felt like canceling immediately but unfortunately, in order to make a reservation, you have to make the payment in advance, that's when we realized the mistake. Now we are in another Hotel where without using the app and checking the price first, we asked and they still offered us a cheaper price and the image the Hotel provided us was nothing like the previous one. So I recommend coming without a reservation and I feel very sorry for the app, but that's how I had to do it from day one, and then if I am interested in booking, I will do it at the same door or at the same reception of the Hotel, so I don't give room for more deception, as it is not the first time that it has happened to me here in Turkey to pay in advance through the app and then they don't accept the price from the app and don't let you check-in, the same thing happened to me four years ago and until Booking.com refunded, I had to figure out how to book another Hotel, there were other guys at the reception who had exactly the same thing happen to them as to me, apparently the receptionist was talking to the owner or manager and they didn't accept reservations from Booking.com.
