The location was pleasant, with a friendly reception staff. Price was okay.
The issue with the budget double room listing was that it did not clearly state that the room was located in a basement with no windows. This was quite disappointing. The photos in the listing showed a window, but it was misleading as that window faced the hallway in the basement! (Our room didn't even have that window, which to be honest, we prefer). The reception staff couldn't assist as they mentioned it was in the booking information, but I checked all the confirmation emails and found no mention of it. Therefore, it's advisable to confirm with the accommodation before booking to avoid any surprises. Even the booking support was unhelpful. In my view, it's crucial to be transparent about the offered conditions; the fact that the room is in a basement should be clearly advertised!
