Ideal location for exploring Istanbul. Near the hotel there is an entrance to the Marmara train, which will take you to key places, the beach, or metro stations. Close to the ferry station, to the most important tourist attractions in Istanbul. There is a great Muslim kebab on the street and the vendors are not too pushy. The cleanliness and finishing of the hotel are average. You can expect clean towels, room cleaning, and that's it, it is not a 5-star standard. If you want to spend all days sightseeing and come to the hotel only for sleep and a bath, this is a cheap and good option. We had buffet breakfast at the restaurant nearby. It was a traditional breakfast (2 types of cheese, jams, honey, bread, eggs, tomatoes and cucumbers, sometimes salad, egg omelette or dessert). I never left hungry. There is a good cafe under the hotel. It's worth having a Turkish tea or taking an iced coffee to go.
Negative aspect: the technical condition of the hotel. Several repairs are needed, a professional painter/plasterer, replacement of doors, etc. The exterior has a beautiful facade, but inside there is a slight mess.
