The location of the hotel was really very good. Public transportation was easily accessible. Unfortunately, we initially booked an affordable room and were shocked at how small it was - barely usable even for one person. After one night, we opted for a larger room at an additional cost. This one was noticeably nicer and more spacious.
Unfortunately, the bathroom was not clean at all. There were still urine stains and residues from the previous guest in the toilet, and the sink was dirty as well. I had to disinfect and clean everything myself. This was absolutely unacceptable for us.
Breakfast was also a big disappointment. Many of the food items seemed old and not fresh. After one breakfast, we even had stomach problems and did not use the prepaid breakfast for the remaining days. Therefore, we cannot understand the many positive reviews about the breakfast at all.
The staff was friendly, but overall we would not book this hotel again. For this price, there are much cleaner hotels with a much better breakfast in Sirkeci. Unfortunately, our stay was a mix of positive and negative experiences.
