Our second home in Istanbul

This is our second home. We have been staying at Aprilis hotel for several years in a row - at least 5 years for sure. There are many reasons for that:

The property is located in the very centre of historical Istanbul - a 5-minute walk to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, a 2-minute walk to Cemberlitas hammam, right next to the tram station.

The hotel is very comfortable with all the necessary amenities. It has a relaxing rooftop bar from where one can watch ships sailing on the Bosphorus strait.

But the best thing about the hotel is its staff. Ibrahim feels like a good friend - offering my mum and me tea and coffee right when we arrived so that we could shake off the tiredness of travel. He always takes excellent care of the hotel's guests: provides valuable advice on what we can explore and ensures the taxi is ordered for the correct time. His colleagues at the reception, restaurant, and housekeeping are also top-notch.

We had a fantastic stay. The hotel was highly communicative and very responsive. The hotel room was spotless and exactly as described. It featured a fantastic rooftop terrace with a bar and stunning views, creating a beautiful spot for relaxation. The accommodation was clean, stylish, and well-equipped. The beds were comfortable. Access instructions were simple, and the staff were extremely friendly, providing many excellent suggestions for our inquiries. The apartment was just a 1-minute walk from the main tram line, 5 minutes to the Grand Bazaar, and 5 minutes to the Grand Mosque, with plenty of shops, local bars, and restaurants located nearby or close to the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
