The owner promptly refunded my money.
I do not know whether the fault was with this hotel or Booking.com. If it's the latter, I apologise for the poor review, and I must note that I was given a prompt refund by 'the hotel' for a night that I never stayed, because the hotel is/was not yet open. Still, one star reflects the hour-and-a-half I spent looking for this place, which was dark at the location, still not listed on Google Maps, and finally answered the phone. The whole event was an enormously annoying way to arrive after an international flight. BUT IF THIS PREMATURE LISTING WAS ENTIRELY BOOKING.COM's FAULT, THEY SHOULD REMOVE THIS REVIEW. It would be unfair to the hotel to penalise them with a one-star review before they even begin.
