No complaints. I was worried due to the lack of reviews, but thankfully it turned out to be a great hotel despite the non-refundable booking.
Location - The location is excellent, very close to Sultanahmet and easily accessible by tram. There are rooftop restaurants nearby, as well as supermarkets and stores just 2 minutes away. Perfect location!
Cleanliness - Being afraid of bedbugs and the risks at hotels in Istanbul, I found this hotel to be very clean and comfortable. I had no issues at all.
Staff - It depends on who is on shift, but overall they are nice people.
Breakfast - Definitely worth the money. They change the fruit and pastry daily, although the overall selection remains the same. You can enjoy a sea view from the rooftop. We didn't consider having dinner on the terrace, but now I regret it. We should have dined there too.
P.S.: Make sure to have dinner at the rooftop. The evening staff are very friendly, and they don't seem to have many customers apart from the guests. They mentioned offering discounts to guests.
We weren't aware that our reservation was for the basement floor, but the receptionist kindly upgraded us to the 1st floor. Thank you!
As previously mentioned, we unknowingly booked a room on the basement floor. The information wasn't clear, so it should be made more visible. Nevertheless, we were upgraded to the 1st floor, which greatly improved our stay. Thank you so much!
