Excellent location, within walking distance of many attractions. Onur, the host, was incredibly helpful and attended to all our needs. If I return to Istanbul, I will definitely book this property again.

The location is tricky. Especially if in Istanbul for the first time.
It is visible that at some point it was a luxurious apartment with quality repairs (15-20 years ago).
The hosts try to maintain order and comfort.
The very cool terrace on top creates a wow effect.
The staircase is not for everyone. All rooms on different floors, for example, the kitchen is on the third, the children's room is downstairs, and the bedroom on the second. But there are bathrooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors, which is convenient.
There was a slight characteristic smell in the house, typical for old properties, but it was hard to identify. It was a bit stuffy due to the central location where opening windows could be noisy. It's not people's voices, but city sounds. However, it was a bit stuffy. Heating is easily regulated, so there were no issues.
A small child (5 years old) was not very active, but fell from the stairs on the first day, so then it was uncomfortable to accompany him everywhere. Therefore, decide for yourselves, if you are friends with stairs or not.
The bathrooms have very beautiful showers but tired and not very convenient to use.
