DavidA warm welcome undermined by bad sleep...
The man at reception was very polite, friendly and well-mannered. He was helpful and went out of his way to show me a traditional Turkish-style cafe I was looking for. So was the next man that took over at night. It was nice getting such a warm welcome.
Due to a medical condition I asked for an extra pillow. After the 3rd request, and 4 hours, the pillow came. I was totally exhausted having travelled from Malaysia, and was desperate to sleep. No idea why it took 4 hours.
AC turned off in the middle of the night and the remote was damaged and unable to control. The battery connection was bent inside. I was sweating and couldn't get much sleep.
The hotel is next to a large Mosque so be prepared for prayer calls.
