There was an issue with the lifts a couple of times which was a bit inconvenient. But these things happen

Easy communication with the host, smooth check-in, and they offer services if needed. Nothing more to add.
Really close to Taksim Square, where you can easily take the tram to get around in Istanbul (we ended up walking everywhere), and near Kabatas port, which was convenient while also enjoying the view.
