The location of the hotel was really very good. Public transportation was easy to reach. Unfortunately, we initially booked a budget room and were shocked by how small it was – not even usable for one person. After one night, we upgraded to a larger room for an additional fee. This room was significantly nicer and more spacious.
Unfortunately, the bathroom was not clean at all. There were urine and remnants from the previous guest in the toilet, and the sink was dirty as well. I had to disinfect and clean everything myself. This was absolutely unacceptable for us.
The breakfast was also a big disappointment. Many items appeared old and not fresh. After one breakfast, we even had stomach issues and did not use the already paid breakfast for the remaining days. Therefore, we cannot at all comprehend the many positive reviews about the breakfast.
The staff was friendly, but overall we would not book this hotel again. For this price, there are much cleaner hotels with a much better breakfast in Sirkeci. Unfortunately, our stay was a mix of positive and negative experiences.
