Our second home in Istanbul

This is our second home. We have been staying at Aprilis hotel for several years in a row - at least 5 years for sure. There are many reasons for that:

The property is located in the very centre of historical Istanbul - a 5-minute walk to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, a 2-minute walk to Cemberlitas Hammam, right next to the tram station.

The hotel is very comfortable with all the necessary amenities. It has a relaxing rooftop bar from where one can watch ships sailing on the Bosphorus strait.

But the best thing about the hotel is its staff. Ibrahim feels like a good friend - offering my mum and me tea and coffee right when we arrived so that we could relax after the journey. He always takes great care of the hotel's guests: gives good advice on things to do and makes sure the taxi is ordered for the right time. His colleagues at the reception, restaurant and housekeeping staff are also excellent.

We had an incredible stay. The hotel was very communicative and responsive. The hotel room was spotless and just as described. It included a fantastic rooftop terrace with a bar and breathtaking views, perfect for relaxation. The room was clean, stylish, and well-equipped. The beds were comfortable. The check-in instructions were simple, and the staff was extremely friendly, providing many excellent recommendations for our inquiries. The apartment was only a 1-minute walk from the main tram line, 5 minutes to the Grand Bazaar, 5 minutes to the Grand Mosque, and surrounded by numerous shops, local bars, and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
