Very Good

Stayed at Rooms Inn Taxim hotel. Pros:

1. Affordable prices (suitable for those who only stay for a short time in the hotel).

2. Friendly staff (mainly speak Turkish, but also know English and Russian). Upon arrival, they offered me tea, showed me where the nearest store was. There were a few moments (for example, the key card didn't work, the door to the bathroom got stuck), but they quickly helped us solve the problems.

3. Functional air conditioner! This is important, especially for those, like us, who visit Istanbul in the summer.

4. No issues with hot and cold water.

5. The most important thing is the LOCATION! Ideal for experienced travelers (those traveling for the first time, I recommend the area near Sultanahmet Square). Within walking distance to Taksim metro station and Istiklal Street. Also, Ku00fcu00e7u00fck u00c7iftlik park (if you suddenly plan to attend a concert there).

There are also downsides:

1. No beautiful views of the Bosphorus and mosques from the window.

2. Water from the tap is not recommended for drinking (we were immediately warned about this, so we bought drinking water at the store).

3. Towels were not changed (maybe if we had asked, they would have changed them daily, but we didn't stay long).

4. Unstable wi-fi. Therefore, if you need to hold, for example, a zoom conference, it's better to reschedule it for another time or find a cafe with good internet.

In general, I liked it. I love Istanbul and its residents. So make sure to visit the city to see it with your own eyes.

Good stay

The hotel location is excellent, and the staff are helpful and respectful

We booked 4 rooms, unfortunately each room had a different issue: one room had a hot and non-cooling air conditioner, another room had an unpleasant sewage smell, and a room with a leakage in the bathroom.
