ValeriyPelican is a worthy hotel, it's time to raise the rating!!!
Arrived in Istanbul and once again checked in at the Pelican hotel) The staff was very welcoming, provided excellent clean rooms, the mattresses in the rooms are very comfortable, clean white linens, excellent shower cabin, strong water pressure, good plumbing, everything is clean and cozy. Each room has a kettle, and they replenish coffee, tea, sugar, provide water daily - it's just wonderful, not all Istanbul hotels offer such services! The breakfasts became varied and tasty - several types of cheese, fresh vegetables, tasty honey, butter, eggs, sausages, potatoes, cold cuts, different salads, tomatoes, cucumbers, milk, cereals - a diverse breakfast, and the tea is incredibly tasty! A huge separate thank you to the ladies who clean the rooms, they are great, always accommodating to any requests! In the evening, it's very cozy to sit and chat in the hotel lobby on the higher floors, there is plenty of space, comfortable sofas and armchairs. The reception is always friendly and responsive, the whole staff is great! Thank you very much for everything!

The room was satisfactory, clean, and the highlight for me was the window that opened to the outside allowing bright sunlight to enter in the mornings. The location is convenient, very close to the metro station, buses, and tram. Currency exchange companies, grocery stores, and mobile phone shops were all nearby. The hotel manager and staff were friendly and helpful. The stay was definitely worth the price we paid. The breakfast was also very good.
We noticed a bed bug on the first night on my pillow, which we reported. Fortunately, it did not happen again. The hotel did not provide drinking water properly.
